Skyfire v1.50(15495) S60v3



Skyfire just released an updated version of their browser for Symbian phones. You can download the version 1.5 of the Skyfire browser for both S60 v3 phones and S60 v5 touch phones. This update follows the launch of Skyfire 1. 5 for Windows Mobile in December 2009The browser for S60 3rd edition brings Smooth Scrolling , Updated UI for 3rd edition devices and Performance tweaks.

The S60 5th Edition Beta brings a Finger friendly UI with Kinetic scrolling. You can now also browse in Fullscreen mode. There is Auto-Rotate too which users your phone’s accelerometer

Swim is a utility for automatic periodic synchronization of data with internet servers such as Google Calendar (through GooSync), Mobical, Zyb and Ovi. It makes use of the existing SyncML support in the system, and adds timing capabilities, something both UIQ and S60 mysteriously lack! You can set it to sync your data every 15 minutes, every hour, every 4 hours, every 12 hours, daily, or weekly."

Nokia Image Space provides you a new view to your own photos, as well as to those from your friends and other people.

You simply link your Flickr account to Image Space. You can then start browsing and sharing photos in Image Space and this way building a view to your part of the world. Your account, the privacy settings and contact lists are handled in Flickr. You see your Flickr contacts and those photos you have access to. Moreover, the comments, tags and photo descriptions can be viewed and edited in Image Space.

When there are enough photos of a given area which have been made publicly available, Image Space generates a 3D presentation from them. This feature will be ramped up in phases during the next two months, so please be patient. You can see some examples now at Helsinki and Tampere.

Notice: Nokia Image Space is an experimental research project by Nokia Research Center. Uploading photos by using Nokia Share Online client in the phone generates data traffic between the mobile phone and the service. The traffic costs depend on your network operator and data plan.
